The Communities in Schools Event had approximately 350 3-5 graders  and there were 14 employers and/or organizations in attendance. The variety of  participants were retail, hospitality, local government, education, and business service/employment office. Joblink  staff gave a quick description of the services  provided and quizzed students on skills, education, sources of seeking jobs and preparing for employment. They were rotated through in groups of 10 thorugh the career fair. Generally, most of the students were interested and took business cards for their family members who were looking for a job. It was touching to see how children were affected and how important it was to get the information to their parents.
